WELCOME

We are a small, welcoming church which has been meeting at Widney Junior School for 22years. The church was planted by St. James Parish church, Shirley and we are part of the Salter Street & Shirley Team of churches. The vision was for the congregation to be involved within the local community and to offer worship accessible to all. Meeting in the school hall our worship tends to be more informal and relaxed but with the Anglican tradition.

 We welcome all people whatever your church background (or lack of church background)

Increasingly people are finding faith in God is important in their lives. Many people are searching and the Christian message makes sense and gives meaning to life.

           In times of sadness it is a great comfort to share with others in God’s goodness.

 Stresses of everyday, strains of relationships, bereavement & family problems are easier top deal with in the context of the Christian family.

 If you believe there is more to life and would like to learn more about God & his love for us through sharing with others then Christ the King is the place for you!
 

There is no pressure to conform to any religious mould you are free to grow and be the person God made you to be!
